I suppose I should annotate: This would be in Woodhearth, I imagine in some area still salted with Imperial-style buildings– I don’t think it looks very Bosmeri except for maybe the ivy. Cyranrir traveled a great deal in his younger days on family business and for reasons of his own. He then lived in Cyrodiil for an extended period of time.
Here he is with one of his Bosmer friends; I’m not sure what the story is with the wig, but I’m sure it’s a good one.
Not particularly a nice person, Cyranrir, but loyal to his own people; his friend here ends up steward of one of his properties in Alinor.
Oh, a wig! I wondered how that guy changed hairstyles so quickly – or maybe Cyranrir had a couple of friends. XD
Well, at least he’s loyal. 🙂 And maybe he’s not very nice, but he’s good-looking (and so is his friend)
No, sadly… Cyranrir was a visionary, and visionaries are rarely what you would call nice.
But it is true that he has a least a couple of friends.
This is about fifteen years before the end of the Third Era, so it was a happier time overall, and the Summerset Altmer would have led much less restrictive lives. Cyranrir’s family would have been rather stodgy given their circumstance, but he was still young enough to do as he pleased. There was no hurry for him to take on the responsibilities of his household– the head of the household is his great-great grandfather, still fully capable at not quite 200.
Elf lifespans, man.
