Well, you told me you weren’t too sure about this chapter, but I have to say that I really liked it. It has a good rhythm, if you know what I mean, and everything fell into place when it should.

Cyr’s youthful stubbornness about telling Ahtar what’s going on is making me sad, for his sake, because he doesn’t realize that Ahtar would probably be happy to share his burden, and help him along. As it is, I expect Ahtar’s going to be a little, shall I say, Put Out because Cyr kept his physical problems from him.

    Oh well. Men. 😀

Now we will have to see if the last chapter makes any sense. Hmf.

I do think Ahtar’s going to be too worried to be upset about Cyr’s non-disclosure; in any event he is probably well used to soldiers and their sometimes-fatal idiocies.

Ahhh this was such a good chapter. That was some lovely smut you opened with – I really, really loved the Khajiit singing happening outside the tent. You did an awesome job of really making the atmosphere vivid. The rest of the chapter was really well-balanced, and once Cyr’s internal clock and sense of his surroundings starts to fail you execute that really clearly. All-around really really nice work on this one 😀

Oh, good, I’m glad you liked it.

I am really, really nervous about the last one in this arc, the one after this; I’m hoping it wraps it up well enough.

It’s been equally fun trying to put the pieces back together for Cyr. Do you think he is a good patient? Noooo… he is not.
