I’m glad Cyr got Ahtar to back down from his disdain of Erdi, at least a little. I hadn’t thought about her situation, but she will indeed be in a pickle if Ahtar abandons her somewhere.
And I’m also glad that Cyr is getting at least a little relief from his pain. There will be a day of reckoning, I know, but a least while he’s traveling with the khajit he’ll be okay (right?).
Excellent chapter. Waiting to see what happens next. 🙂
I wouldn’t say Ahtar’s got a general disdain of Erdi, they’re pretty good friends although he certainly doesn’t view her as a peer, lol. I was pretty surprised when Cyr snapped at him like that, Cyr was pissed! But then the Thalmor’s saving grace is they don’t treat their women like children or cattle– even more so than the Nords, who are probably the least bad race of man about it..
But I do think Ahtar was pretty disturbed by what Erdi did and that’s not going to go away immediately. I think if he’d been given the choice he would have told her not to do it.
We’ll see what happens to Cyrelian. He’ll be fine for a little while I am sure. I thought we’d get him out of Solitude in two chapters and look what happened– one day was four chapters!
Now I have to go and write some combat scenes, we’ll see. Ugh. I’m going to go chat with someone who knows what they’re doing with that, so hopefully it will get better.
Marcus and Alfgar will be dropping by soon, too. Things get exciting when they’re around.
Marcus and Alfgar….hehehehe. Maybe you’ll get some practice writing a mild combat scene with that one! I especially wanna see what happens when Marcus tries to show Alfar he’s the boss 🙂 I don’t think ANYone is Alfgar’s boss XD

LOL.
Well, I think Alfgar would just wiggle those eyebrows and say “Maybe. Depends.”
And in any event they keep busy enough fighting other stuff.
